Hello from Caroline - Professional Organiser and creator of The Tidy Room Company.
I am passionate about helping you feel more in control and happier about your home through decluttering and organising. Since I launched back in 2017, I’ve worked alongside many individuals, couples and families to transform areas of the home from chaos to calm, whether that be a room, wardrobe, the paperwork or housework.
The Tidy Room Company brings together three parts of my life; Firstly, my career as an Executive Assistant at a large global company, which required a high degree of efficiency, organisation and sensitivity. Also crucial, was the ability to work effectively alongside a range of different personalities, cultures and ways of working. All of these skills translate to my business.
Secondly, a life-long pursuit of a calm, easy-to-maintain and efficiently run home (because like most people I want to spend more time doing fun and important stuff, rather than tidying and housework!), as well as a - perhaps a little quirky - genuine enjoyment from decluttering and organising my home, leading to experimenting many different ways of doing things and trialling a whole range of products over the years.
Lastly, as a Mum to three young children I have experienced (still am!) the challenge of running a busy, fast-paced home with a relentless stream of tasks, often on very little energy. However, having developed ways to make my own life easier through effective decluttering, organising and having good organising systems in place, I want to share these with you to make your life a little easier :)
When I’m not running around after small children (and husband!) or working into the small hours on my business, I’m recharging my batteries by running along the river, or having outdoor adventures with my high-energy family!
