What is the process?
The first step is to get in touch with me so that we can discuss what you'd like help with and answer any questions you have. I offer a FREE phone consultation (up to 20 minutes). to discuss your challenges and how I can help. If you decide that you'd like to go ahead with one of the services, we'll arrange a suitable date and time to get started. Before we start any organising, decluttering or room styling project, I will always spend some time talking with you to fully understand exactly what you need to achieve before we start tackling those problem areas.
Should I be worried about the state of my home?
This is a really common concern and I fully understand that it can be a big step to have someone in your home advising and helping with areas that aren't currently working for you. However please be assured that I see homes in all sorts of conditions and so I have no expectation of what yours will be like. Also I am solely there to help you and always look beyond the clutter and chaos to see the potential of your space.
Will I be made to get rid of items I want to keep?
Absolutely not. At no point will you be made to get rid of something you don't want to. I may challenge you on the reasons for keeping hold of specific items (after all that's part of my job) but I respect that it is your home, your things and you always have the final say.
How long will it take?
It depends on the nature of the task and every one is different. Naturally I like to work quickly and efficiently to get as much as possible done for you in the allocated time however if you prefer a slower pace just let me know.
Do you get rid of unwanted items?
I am unable to remove items due to Waste Carrier Legislation, however I will ensure that unwanted items are organised so that you can donate, sell or dispose of them easily.
Do I have to be present?
Usually you will need to be present during decluttering sessions to decide what can stay and what can go as I cannot make these decisions for you. However there may be subsequent tasks that don't require you to be there in person.
What areas do you cover?
I am based in South Buckinghamshire (Marlow area) and usually cover a 10 mile radius. If you are located further afield, please get in touch to discuss.
